Bunnies
In 2004, I was mowing my yard when I ran over a bunny
burrow with the lawn mower.
At first I was not sure what type of rodents were running around, but when
I saw they
were small bunnies, I grabbed them. A phone call to our local pet store resulted
in
bad advice. We were told that because I had touched them that the mother would
have nothing more to do with them. To clear the record, this is not true. I
should
have returned the bunnies to their burrow. Anyway, we ended up with three
bunnies
which we raised for about 6 months before turning them loose in our yard.
Unfortunately,
my dog Champ jumped up and bit the ear off one of the rabbits while my son was
holding the rabbit.

Mary Lou was into the bunnies as well. As the grew bigger and got
loose in the house, they were very hard to catch
This one was very sweet and liked to be held. Another was moderate
and the third rabbit was an out right wild man.
