During our wonderful Alaska cruise, we took this photo in Juneau, Alaska.
Here we are at the Mendenhall Glacier
Lunch at Seattle’s Space Needle
Austin takes a friend kayaking. Our house sits along the Chattahoochee River and we kayak frequently. Across the river is River Pines Golf Course where there is usually a pile of 75 to 100 golf balls in shallow water along the river bed, and a 60 pound alligator turtle we call “Jaws” sits atop those golf balls just like they were her eggs. Stephanie attends Girl Scout horseback riding camp
This is Charlie. We first found Charlie crawling up our front door when he was just 2.5 feet long. He likes living in our flower beds along side the driveway. Each year he comes out and we relocate him to the river bank behind our house, but he always comes back. Now he is almost 6 feet long. You should have seen the cable repair guys jump the day they found Charlie in the cable box.
We like having Charlie the snake around, except that he eats Stephanie’s collection of Anoles (lizards) which she captured on her grandfathers farm in Macon and relocated to our home. The good news is that as shown in the picture I took below on our handrail, more anoles are on the way.
Stephanie won her tennis tournament. She played 3 matches in one day, including a match that outlasted 2 and a half matches on the court next to her. I am tired just thinking about it.
Pictured on the right is Dave Dreslin – ace CPA out of Tampa. He is a Philadelphia eagles nut and drives to virtually every Eagles game. When the Eagles come to Atlanta to play the Falcons, he takes me to the game and I take him and his son kayaking (below).
Austin heads off to a football game in good company.
